I've finally completed the first four Arkham Horror Leagues! I'm currently working on translating the third Spanish league with Jessa, so that may be a bit away, but the production of components for Arkham Horror leagues one and two, as well as Spanish Leagues one and two are complete. Images and a small side project after the jump.

I've been putting a lot of time into creating custom components for Arkham Horror. On the one hand, this is an end to itself, on the other, it's a really nice test case for putting together components for the Dune board game. Along the way, I found that I needed a light table to align the front and back of cards, so I built one.

or what I've been up to the last three weeks
As can sometimes happen, I have been incredibly busy for the past three weeks. Between business and vacation, I've only had 8 days at my normal job. However, I've still be very productive, just not as good about blogging about it, so here's what I've been up to.

Last week I posted about my EVE Intel project. It's nowhere near complete, but here is the state that it's in, if you want to take a look and see what I was working toward:

July 4 and 11
Donations are open for the week of July 4 and 11. I'm doing a two-week stretch because the fourth of July weekend and my vacation at the beginning of next week make two shorter weeks in a row. That means the minimum will be set to 6 hours, and the maximum is 12.
Last week, I spent most of my time (and then some - five hours) working on Thank You cards. We've made some good progress on these and will probably be sending out a good number of them this week. I also got a blog post out on EVE and put together a page for my main character (Darren Carey). Thanks!
Those of you in the EVE Online community have probably heard of the various things going on with licensing. As a result, I'm temporarily dropping my EVE Intel project off of my list of to-dos. More details below.

Donations are open for the week of June 27. This week, I have kit building on Wednesday night, so I'll be working on projects for a minimum of 4 hours, and a maximum of 8. Thanks for your support!
Last week I finished working off my backlog of donated hours, working on Thank You Cards and Blogging (3 hours each). I've got one more blog coming up about EVE Online which will be accompanied by a page about my main character.
or, yeah, I fail.
Last week, I asked for donations to go toward my projects. I plan on sticking to those donations, but as many of you noticed, it didn't quite happen last week. I feel I owe it to you to explain, so here you go:

Jessa and I have recently finished watching our way through Star Trek: The Next Generation. I've never seen the show from start to finish before, so this was quite a treat for me in a number of ways. Details to follow.

Donations are open for the week of June 13. Comment below to donate time to my projects. See this post if you don't know what I'm talking about.
I have a new theory, and it is this: I have time to write, but I don't make time to write. Let me elaborate:

Nerd cruise FTW!
NOTE: After many months of putting off publishing this entry, I've decided to heck with it, I'm just going to finish it up and post it. Please disregard use of the phrase "just got back from". And yes, my mother and I are still on speaking terms.
As many of you may know (since I wouldn't shut up about it) I just got back from a week long cruise to the Caribbean. Do I like the Caribbean? No! But when you fill the boat with nerds, it's hard to resist.
I didn't take many photos, but there's
a picture of me and my mother wearing fake mustaches online, so I feel fulfilled anyway. I ate a dessert after EVERY MEAL, and I only gained two pounds. And my mother and I are still on speaking terms after being trapped in a 6'x6' box for 6 days! At least, I think we are. I haven't called her since I got back.
So here's a list of what I would do again, given the chance (yes, there should be more nerd cruises in the future), and what I would change.

Cool stuff to do in Grand Junction, part one!
The Colorado National Monument is a good choice for you outdoorsy types. If the weather's nice you can rent a bike and ride up the mountain. If you're feeling extra adventurous it has a campground and you can spend the night there!

This has certainly been a busy holiday, but I shouldn't complain, it's been good. Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately?) for you all, I'm not making a new years resolution to blog more often, though I do plan to when I have some time. I did, however, want to put together an update of what I have been doing over the past few weeks...

Bold those you've read, and italicize those you've started but didn't finish, or have read excerpts from.
(Many of these I have read, but don't remember. And many more I started but never finished.)

Or, how I occupy my time in the months leading up to the wedding
As Becca said to me, "You're crazy."
In mid-July, I decided it would be a fun idea to create little crocheted pouches for my wedding. We could fill them with candy or dice! And I could get rid of my scrap yarn! I decided to make each bag using a different yarn so each would be unique and I wouldn't get bored with crocheting them.

Dark Eldar
With the suprise raid of the Dark Eldar Codex I have started the task of constructing, painting, and running a Dark Eldar army. This task is starting with my new HQ choice Duke Sliscus...

One of the projects I've been working on for a while is a model for Egil Iron Wolf - one of the wolf lords mentioned in the Space Wolf codex. A while back I posted pictures of the model, but I have also recently finished painting him. Pictures after the jump.

I have recently completed the final datasheet for Leeman Russ, complete with pictures of all the units.
Here's the full PDF. Comments welcome.
After a long time of painting on these guys, my Wulfen Guard are finally done. I spent approximately four hours per model on the three largest models, the first took the longest, but I think the second model (the one in the middle) looks the best. Pictures after the jump.
